Home Partners’ HPSR report This Report gives insights into the development and evolution of HPSR in various LMICs and advocates for far greater investments in HPSR, particularly at country-level. The Report reflects the complex and varied nature of HPSR across a diversity of countries, highlighting the different ways that HPSR is organized around the world. Rapid research responders Policy-makers bear the responsibility of making a wide range of decisions on matters that could be life or death. This story of change chronicles how two research teams – in Georgia and India – worked with policy-makers to provide rapid evidence in the face of the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Annual report 2020 2020 was a year like no other. The Alliance not only re-programmed some of its work to support the response to COVID-19, it also continued its long-term initiatives to build the field of HPSR, supporting 145 grants across 38 countries. Pillars of strength The second in our series of stories of changefocuses on Mozambique in the aftermath of Cyclone Idai. It explains how an innovative embedded research approach has improved data collection, empowered local health workers and managers and helped build resilience to respond to health emergencies. The bumpy road to better health This multimedia story examines how an innovative embedded research programme helped inform the roll out of a key primary health care programme in Ghana. It also outlines five steps that were important for creating a culture of evidence use. Annual report 2019 In 2019, the Alliance supported 16 ongoing projects, representing 111 grants across 42 countries. Find out more about these projects, as well as long-term investments that the Alliance has made to support greater capacity for health policy and systems research in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Nigeria. Annual report 2018 Organized around our over-arching objectives, our 2018 Annual Report profiles how we bring people together, how we empower leaders, how we generate knowledge and how we influence policy around the world. For the first time we also take a look back at recent examples of policy change and expand on how our grants have informed longer-term processes.
