This protocol describes the methodology to conduct a systematic review on mechanisms and models of coordination between organizations, agencies and bodies providing or financing health services in humanitarian crises. The review questions are the following: During and after humanitarian crises, how do different mechanisms and models of coordination between organizations, agencies (UN and others) and governmental bodies providing or financing health services compare in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, acceptability, feasibility, and impact on equity?
