Health systems research in the time of health system reform in India: a review
This article reviews health systems research output from India during the period 2005-2013. The authors found that the number of papers consistently increased over the time period examined, however there were large regional inequalities in research production. A small number of institutions produced most of the research. Further of the papers with foreign lead authors, 77% had lead authors based in 5 high income countries.
