Explorations on people centeredness in health systems

This editorial piece introduces the Health Policy and Planning Journal Supplement on the Science and Practice of People Centred Health Systems. The authors argue that there are 4 elements to People Centered Health Systems, these include, a) putting peoples voices and needs first, b) people centeredness in service delivery, c) creating health systems as social institutions , d) understanding the importance of values such as justice, rights, respect and equality in driving change
