Translated English title: Evaluation of the teleconsultation process from the perspective of the provider, Oaxaca Tele-health Program, Mexico<br />Over the last decade, various strategies for supporting and coordinating the promotion of national tele-health programs have been organized by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). This study aims to identify barriers to implementation of the teleconsultation process in order to develop strategies to improve the program’s operation. In conclusion, the barriers identified in the teleconsultation process mainly affect consulting physicians.
