As part of a series of videos marking the 25th anniversary of the Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research (HPSR), we've asked experts in the field to consider the biggest challenges facing HPSR in the future. To kick us off, and underscoring how digital technologies are dramatically impacting the field, we asked ChatGPT, who highlights three major challenges. First, the rapid evolution of health care technologies and digital health systems necessitates constant adaptation in research methods and policy development. Second, the growing burden of noncommunicable diseases and ageing populations requires a shift in focus towards preventive and integrated care. Finally, achieving universal health coverage demands equitable access to quality health care services for all.
