Dr Kelechi Ohiri on the big challenges facing HPSR

In this video from the Alliance's 25th anniversary series, Kelechi Ohiri, CEO of the Health Strategy and Delivery Foundation, identifies three major challenges for health policy and systems research (HPSR) in the future. Firstly, there's a need to build HPSR capacity in low- and middle-income countries, as current capacity is largely concentrated in high-income countries. Secondly, improving the overall governance of research to ensure international standards for quality and relevance. Lastly, translating research findings into evidence, policy, and action to make it useful for policy-makers in the countries themselves.
